$754 of $2,000

Join us in keeping Mike’s spirit alive by donating to a cause that was near and dear to his heart. Every $1 donated to God’s Pantry Food Bank allows us to gather and distribute enough food for six meals! How is that possible? It’s simple. There is an abundance of food available to us at no cost, but we need funds to move that food from it’s location to where it’s most needed. For example, a food wholesaler donates 10,000 pounds of tomatoes to the Food Bank that has a retail value of $10,000. While we pay nothing for the product, we must spend $1,000 to transport the tomatoes from their original location to the pantries where they are distributed to clients. Your $1 may allow you to donate a pound of tomatoes at retail price, but that same $1 allows us to provide 10 pounds of tomatoes to hungry Kentuckians. We also have bulk purchasing power, stretching every dollar farther.
